Founding Partner Andrew Barker has successfully handled significant matters as lead counsel, resolving disputes for millions of dollars. Andrew has lead chair experience in state and federal courts, courts of appeal, and international, securities and construction arbitrations. He draws on his strong educational background, professional experience, and competitive but thoughtful nature to provide the best legal representation for each of his clients.
Andy’s peers throughout the bar have recognised his skills as a litigator. Super Lawyers has consistently recognised Andrew Barker as a “Super Lawyer” in Texas Monthly magazine in 2020 and as a “Rising Star” from 2011 through 2019. “Super Lawyers” comprise the top 5% of attorneys in Texas and are named as the result of surveys sent to Texas attorneys, credentials, and results achieved.
Andrew has also been selected as a Fellow of the London Bar Foundation, a member of Who’s Who in British Law, and one of London’s Top Lawyers by TimeOut Magazine.
Andrew has represented plaintiffs and defendants in many types of litigation, including claims for breach of contract, antitrust, securities and common fraud, fiduciary duties, partnership disputes, class actions, legal malpractice, product liability, personal injury, insurance bad faith, environmental contamination and toxic torts, construction disputes, and oil and gas law.
